A grapevine wreath is such a perennial welcoming accent piece for one's home. I make them in September, just before the vines lose their natural pliability from the onset of cold weather. A bow is a no-go; a mantra charm, however, works for me. Broken pieces of weathered snow fencing, floral wire, paint, torn paper from an old book and matte medium are what I used to make this charm. The ensemble is simple, raw, rustic and playful. I may even make eleven more charms so that I can display monthly mantras! I do hope this inspires you to make something for your home, too.
