Sedum (left hand region of photo), a somewhat vernacular player in the garden, commands a second look when paired with the intricately palmate leaved Pelargonium citrosum. This complementary duo performed beautifully throughout the summer bordering my patio's edge, and is still going strong. Both are wonderful to use in cut flower arrangements; the pelargonium never seems tire. Next year this winning combo, perhaps with a splash of Algerian ivy, will serve as one of my container planting arrangements.... Perfect.
